There are some wedding days that just stay with you — and Kaitlyn & Hunter’s July 25th celebration at Greenhouse Two Rivers is one I won’t forget anytime soon. These two have the kind of chemistry you can’t help but notice. From the moment the reception began, they were never more than a few steps apart, always reaching for each other — a hug, a kiss on the cheek, a whispered word that made the other smile. It was the kind of quiet, magnetic love that says “we’re home, as long as we’re together.”

Their day began with a first look in their new ceremony space, followed by private vows shared just between the two of them. There were so many tears — the joyful, overwhelming kind — and it was an incredibly moving moment to witness. One of the most emotional parts of the day wasn’t just the vows themselves, but knowing what Kaitlyn had overcome to stand there. Almost a year ago, she was in a life-threatening car accident. Her recovery was nothing short of a miracle. Watching her walk down the aisle, laugh with her best friends, and dance the night away with the love of her life? It was more than a celebration — it was a testimony of grace, strength, and answered prayer.

The ceremony and reception took place at the breathtaking Greenhouse Two Rivers, a venue known for its lush glass walls and dreamy lighting. The florals and palette were perfect for a romantic summer wedding — soft peaches, dusty blues, classic whites, and playful pops of pink that made everything feel classy but still full of joy. Guests were welcomed with parasol umbrellas for shade and treated to ice cream during cocktail hour (how fun is that?!).

The wedding party included five bridesmaids and five groomsmen, and everyone brought the energy all day long. One of the most memorable behind-the-scenes moments came just after the vows. Kaitlyn had cried so many happy tears that she needed a quick touch-up from her makeup artist. We had to shuffle the timeline a bit, but everything worked out beautifully — and of course, I assured her I’d edit any close-ups with the same care and love I put into every frame. No stress needed.

This day was coordinated flawlessly by Simply Cherished Weddings, who made sure every detail was thoughtful and every moment ran smoothly. From portraits to dance floor candids, I loved capturing every second of Kaitlyn & Hunter’s wedding.
